Flatlock Normal stitching :
There 4 needles and 6 cone thread on this kind of stitching machine. It is for neoprene no thicker than 3mm .The neoprene is lapped
together, then stitched with the needle penetrating right through the material. It can be identifies by a band of interlocked thread on both sides of the wetsuit, creating a flat and comfortable seam. Stitching per Inch is 13 to 15.
Flatlock stitching with double knives : This stitching is same as flatlock normal stitching. But add the cutting edge function.
It is special to use for Rash Guard . When we stitching. The double knives will cut the two edge fabric .
To sure two edge overlap well to avoid the seam broken due to the lycra. Spandex etc fabric are very soft.
Stitching per inch in 16 to 18.
Blind-stitching:
There are two kind of blindstitching seam. One is single thread and the other one is double thread (Double thread is more strong than
single thread) . Both of them is achieved using a curved needle, enabling the stitch to only go halfway through neoprene, This is very
important to avoid penetrate the neoprene. Otherwise. Water can into body and cause thermal insulation of the suit . The seam is usually given added strength by gluing the edge of the neoprene together before stitching them to product a watertight seal.
Mauser stitching :
There 4 needles and 6 cone thread on this kind of stitching machine with elastic bind lace. It is for neoprene no thicker than 5mm.
The neoprene is not lapped and only flat, then stitched with the needle penetrating right through the elastic lace with neoprene.It can
be identifies by a band of interlocked thread on both sides of the wetsuit or other goods, creating a flat and comfortable seam. Suitable
for sports supports and some of wetsuits. Stitching per Inch is 8-9.
Taped Seams:
It refers to a line of nylon tape that is glued and heat sealed onto the stitching on the inside of suit. The purpose is no wider tan about
20mm to provide added strength at the seam and is most evident in areas of stress, such as the crotch and the joint where the arm meets the armpit.
Overlock stitching :
Over lock stitching is the simplest form of seam, where the neoprene edges or fabric edge are rolled together and the thread wraps
around them. It is distinguished by a rounded seam that protrudes on the inside or outside of the suit,
Double needle straight stitching:
This stitching normall used to stitching the zipper of wetsuits. Which is fast and best quality. Stitching per inch is 8 to 9.
Sealing seam:
a new flow sealing instead of stitching line to make absolutely waterproof for wetsuit. To use a special glue applying on the fissure to
produce a flexible seam which maintains its flexibility but still keep waterproof and more strong than any other seams technology.
Bartake:
Normall use to the end of seam stitching to avoid the stitching loose. Bartake stitching length can be adjust according different materials.
ZigZag:
Normall use for binding. Construction reinforcement and seam. Edge fold etc. It is special due to it can provide more stretch than other
stitching.
